I tried to like this
If you are into stories being drug out by repeated facts about the case with long….dramatic….pauses….then you will love this podcast. This sounds more like the narrator is putting on a performance with her voice acting. I’m sure she cares about the subjects but it is hard to listen to and stay interested.

Wish I didn’t listen because of the host
This lady judges the mother way to much. Just listen to the interview with the mother... it’s horrible

Well done
Though the story is hard to tell a great job was done.

Has every right to be
This reporter is great and as any decent human being would be with common sense, has the right to be judgemental about the mother. She along with her story is shady as hell. Who the hell lets their child be missing for a hour let alone 18 days?? Someone who had something to do with the disappearance that’s who!!!

Reporter is judgmental and annoying
I have never written a review before but the reporter in this podcast is so frustrating. She is constantly judging the mother and the family and injecting her personal (an implicit) bias into the story. She is so clearly out of touch about being poor in this country and perpetuates the stereotypes through her own ignorance. I tried to listen to this but by the middle of the 2nd episode I was so disgusted by her and her unnecessary judgements that I had to turn it off. I can’t believe this woman is a reporter much less a reporter in a major market.

Great story telling
I haven’t found many podcast that can tell a story like this one. I don’t think that it is scripted just told from memory or many notes. Great Job

Chicagoland Fan!!!
I just found 18 Days yesterday and I must say - I just love this podcast! I started listening and realized the voice seamed sooo familiar. Yup! Jan Jeffcoat used to be a Chicago newscaster. We miss you here Jan! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more kick butt episodes. So informative

Powerful and Gripping
This was a very well produced podcast. I felt like I was watching this and just listening to the story behind the disappearance of the 8 year old girl. Inside the shelter homes. The negligence in reporting her missing. Jan Jeffcoat was terrific. She captured the story so well and left me wondering some more on the wherabouts on of the girl's predator. Thank you WUSA 9. Thank you Jan for the reporting. I definitely will be following this story.

So far so good
It’s good so far even though I was very heavily invested in this story there are still things i may not know. I look forward to some of my questions being answered and more about who Relisha was before she went missing. Also more about the man who may or may not have taken her.
