The Brothers Fogel
Fun. Unrefined. Two brothers who grew up on Michigan Football and read way too much mgoblog providing the fan's take on each game every week of the season.
Back 2 Back - Michigan 43, Purdue 21
Beat Michigan State. Check. Beat Ohio State. Check. Win Big Ten Title. Check. As the calendar moves to December, the 2022 Wolverines have checked off 3 of the 4 goals they set out for themselves at the start of the year. On this week's episode, we bask in the afterglow of a magical regular season and start to peek ahead to New Year's Eve. We also toast the ascendance of Will Johnson and Colston Loveland, tip our caps to JJ and Donovan, and discuss the departures of Cade and Erick All.

Plant the Flag - Michigan 45, Ohio State 23
Oh, what a game. We're Big Ten East champs. We're a Purdue game away from a second straight Big Ten title. We've almost certainly clinched a spot in the playoffs. Ryan Day is on the hot seat. And perhaps most importantly - we've added a full calendar year to the 1,000+ days it’s been since Ohio State beat Michigan. On this week's episode we bask in the afterglow of the most glorious win of our lives (except maybe last year's version). We talk about what this win means to both programs, wonder at the miracle that brought us from the lows of 2020 to this point, and offer thanks to the coaches and players who have filled this season with so much joy. Who's got it better than us?

The Game Live Pregame Show - Michigan vs. Ohio
The leaves have fallen, the turkeys have been eaten, the Christmas decorations are starting to pop up around the neighborhood - and with the changing of the season comes the most glorious game of all. In just under two hours the scarlet and gray will meet the MAIZE & BLUE for the Big Ten East title, a trip to the playoffs, and most importantly - a year’s worth of bragging rights. In our annual live pregame podcast, we preview The Game, talk about what needs to go right for Michigan to win (it went right!), and are joined by a number of members of the 16 Saturdays family.

Bring on the Big Boss - Michigan 19, Illinois 17
It wasn't always pretty. At times it was downright terrifying. But some clutch conversions and the steady leg of Jake 'Money' Moody preserved the perfect season, and now we're on to the big one. On this week's episode, we don't need to look past anyone when we preview The Game. We pray for some medical miracles, hope for an innovative offensive gameplan, and break down what has to happen for Michigan to extend the time it's been since Ohio won the game (I hear it's been more than 1,000 days...). Go blue!

One Step Closer - Michigan 34, Nebraska 3
For the first time since 2006 and only the second time in our lifetimes, Michigan is 10-0. We're #3 in all of the major polls and control our destiny for the Big Ten and national titles. Life is good. On this week's episode, we recap our trip to Ann Arbor, discuss the game day experience (and offer some constructive criticism), and rave about our O-line (while worrying a bit about the passing game). We also breakdown Michigan's CFP chances if there's a trip up and preview the games to watch this weekend.

Second Half Adjustments - Michigan 52, Rutgers 17
During a night of chaos across the college football landscape, Michigan's halftime adjustments (and you know superior athletes) proved too much for Rutgers to overcome. The Wolverines cruise to a 52-17 win and inch one step closer to an epic showdown Thanksgiving weekend. On this week's episode, we recap two big wins (welcome home Paul!), discuss the tunnel incident and whether we should even bother playing State every year, and decide whether to hit the panic button on the passing game. We also take stock of the CFP rankings, bask in the glory of Bama's elimination, and look for paths in if Michigan trips up.

Hate Week: Michigan State Preview 2022
Staee might be 3-4. They might be paying $95m for an unproven coach to 'rebuild.' They might be fighting for bowl eligibility instead of a division title. But on Saturday night none of that will matter, and if you're a Michigan fan who's sleeping well this week, you probably haven't lived through the past 15 years. On this week's episode, we preview the big game with little brother, discuss our highlights of the bye week, and get ready for another big weekend across the college football landscape. Go blue!

A Weekend to Write Home About - Michigan 41, Penn State 17
What a day. Michigan runs for 418 yards against the (not anymore) #5 rushing defense in the country, winning 41-17 against a top 10 opponent in a game that wasn't nearly as close as the 24-point margin suggests. Elsewhere, Tennessee knocks off the evil empire, mocks them with their own song, and tosses the goalposts in the river. TCU comes back to win in double overtime, Utah stuns USC, and Clemson survives. College football, you never cease to deliver. On this week's episode, we break it all down, preview our rooting interests for the bye week, and start looking to rivalry week.

Midterm Grading Time - Michigan 31, Indiana 10
We're halfway through the season, undefeated, ranked in the top 4, and with a Heisman candidate in the backfield. Who's got it better than us? On this week's episode, we break down the good, meh, and uhh from Michigan's road win over the Hoosiers (a 3 TD win on the road in a game we didn't play well in is a nice place to be). We hand out midseason awards (hello Mike Morris and Mike Sainristil), preview PSU, and revise our CFP picks. We also look ahead to a huge weekend across the college football landscape and send our best vibes to the Vols. Beat Bama!

The Rare Iowa Road Win - Michigan 27, Iowa 14
Iowa's offense may be suspect, but their defense is elite, and we'll take a win at Kinnick any day of the week. On this week's episode, we discuss the highs (O-line, RBs, JJ, Mike Morris) and lows (LBs, secondary) of Michigan's emphatic win. We wonder if Georgia, Bama, and Ohio really are in a tier of their own, and we prepare for a big week 6 (go Vols!).
