Statement 6 - “When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” (John 19:30, ESV)  Statement 7 - “Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.” (Luke 23:46, ESV)

Statement 4 - "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”” (Matthew 27:46, ESV) Statement 5 - “After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.”” (John 19:28, ESV)

Statement #2 - “And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”” (Luke 23:43, ESV) Statement #3 - “When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.” (John 19:26–27, ESV)

The last seven sayings of Jesus are the recorded words of Jesus between the time he was crucified and the the time that he died.

Starting a study on the Book of Numbers...here are some thoughts on Numbers 1 and 2.

Every job is important in the kingdom of God.

Who likes detours...no one!

Though we may be experiencing a dark night we have to choose to focus on the bright day ahead.

What do you do in the mist of your hard times?  Do you get angry, bitter, discouraged, envious, or hopeful?  In Psalm 5 we see from David that what we should do when we are in a hard time…cry out to the Lord.

David shows us in the this first verse of Psalm 4 a key truth.  That truth is, pray to God to calm your inner war.
