The prior chapter was an evening prayer, while this is the morningprayer. Romans 8:26 “Likewise the Spirit alsohelpeth our infirmities: for we know not what weshould pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makethintercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Some deny themselves the benefits of prayer because they do not knowhow to. A way that we are helped by the Spirit in regards to prayersis by providing us with what to say. Psalms is a book of songs butin an ingenious way we are also taught how to pray. For instance, bynow we should know that we must pray before going to bed and in themorning. Psalms 55:17 “Evening, and morning, and atnoon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.” When it was sung in the Hebrew language it made it easy to memorize. Music is a tool used today against our people to have them meditate on wicked songs instead of wise words. Thus we are learning not only how to lift up our hands to pray but also how to meditate on the commandments of the Heavenly Father. Psalms 119:48 “My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.” To read along while you listen visit the following link: http://12tribes.net/bible/psa005/ Shalam!
