Ahmed Haider was born in Pakistan before his family moved to Sydney when he was just four years old.
As a university student, he was earning $7.30 an hour at Pizza Hut when his friend convinced him to come along to an entrepreneurship event, which completely changed his life.
He now has a business empire worth more than $300 million after he co-founded Zookal, a company that helps students to learn at more affordable prices by allowing them to rent and buy new textbooks online and Flirtey, now known as Skydrop which is a drone delivery service.
Adrian Abraham speaks to Ahmed about adapting to a new country without knowing a word of English, how his parents reacted to him dropping out of university and how he dealt with setbacks to ensure that his business thrived.
