Being from an IT background and having no experience in the F&B industry, a lot of people questioned Sameer Mulani's decision to launch Silver Malt, a bar and restaurant in Singapore's CBD during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2021 he was recognised with the Entrepreneur 100 Award by the Association of Trade and Commerce, Singapore for his achievements.
Adrian Abraham speaks to Sameer about opening up a business with his savings on the line, how he coined the name 'Silver Malt' and how the business managed to survive against all odds during the Covid-19 pandemic.
