Australia is in the final stages of concluding a quarantine-free travel bubble with Singapore that could be established next week, according to Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Elsewhere, Melbourne emerged from its sixth lockdown since the pandemic began. Dubbed the "world's most locked down city", more than five million people spent more than 260 days under restrictions.
