The MICHELIN Guide Singapore celebrated its fifth anniversary recently and announced its MICHELIN Star restaurant selection for 2021.

Four Restaurants debut in the 2021 Edition with One MICHELIN Star and one of them was Cloudstreet, helmed by Chef Rishi Naleendra.

This restaurant blends Sri Lankan heritage and the chef’s solid kitchen experience to showcase intermingling flavours in its innovative dishes served omakase-style. The restaurant marries culinary influences from different parts of the world.

Adrian Abraham speaks to Chef Rishi about what the award means to him personally, how the restaurant prepares for possible lockdowns and how he reacted to being congratulated by a certain Sri Lankan cricket legend.
