Thank you!
Your podcast and perspective are so honest and so helpful. I appreciate your humor, honesty, and perspective. Thank you from a recovered spouse and recovered addict (married couple). Now after finding recovery for a few years, we have been called to be ARP leaders. Will you guys be making more of these in the future?

A podcast that infuses you with the culture of recovery.
This truly is a podcast that infuses you with the culture of recovery by way of positive peer pressure and leveraging our inherent desire to belong… which is something that all addicts (people) can benefit from.

Overall great
This powerful information. Love hearing this stuff discussed casually and honestly, free of the shame that is such a huge part of our church culture. This podcast is a faith builder for me. I get strength from these guys. I like how they are defenders of the faith. Fun guys, great show. The more I listen the more I like them. Just wish they’d do more shows.

Love this
I’m 22 years old and an RM going to university at BYU. In my life I have had struggles with addiction and this is the perfect podcast for me. Brad and Jay have turned me into a wannabe surfer as well — I got up on a wave storm for the first time last week. Love the vibes and their honest approach to things.

Eating!!!!
I love your podcast so much and I would have given you a5 but I have to say that eating and chewing are so distracting while trying to listen. Please take this into consideration. I'm specifically talking about the first episode in 2020 in February about step 1.

This podcast jumpstarted my recovery!
For years, I have struggled with addiction and when this podcast was shared with me, it has changed everything and allowed to overcome the shame of recovery. These guys are not professionals, but honestly I love the realness and genuineness of it. Keep it up boys!

Thank you
I am a porn addict of 10 years that cost me my marriage and career. I learned of this podcast from a guy at ARP. It has been transformative in my approach of the 12 steps. I have shared this with many of my addict friends as well as church leaders.
I also attend SA and love these support groups.
Thank you Brad and Jay. God bless you.

I Know Lexi’s Bro
Guys,
Lexi’s brother Chris Hecht shared this podcast with me right after I gave a YM priesthood lesson with teachers, priests and their fathers where I shared my story of 15+ years of addiction to pornography. That was a couple months ago. I’ve listened to several episodes of your podcast since then and I love it! You guys all have inspiring stories and I’m so glad you’ve shared them with the world and continue to share.
If any of you are ever in Farmington, UT I’d love to meet up.
Thanks for your testimonies and for all you do for the cause of Christ!

Insightful, sincere, and very Inspirational
These guys are amazing. I love that they’re faithful yet not perfect members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and they’re not afraid to talk about it. This really gives you the hope that you need to overcome any addiction/habit. Thanks guys.

The podcast EVERYONE needs to hear
These guys are incredible!! Listening to this podcast is the meeting in-between my regular weekly ARP meeting that helps keep my recovery alive. Everyone needs to take the time to listen in. Either for yourself, a loved one, or someone who you may come across who needs a solution to their addiction problem. Friends and family of addicts will also find hope and healing here. Lots of experience, strength, and hope shared on this podcast!

From an addict
This is the best pod cast I have ever heard. So enlightening, I wish I could have found this years ago

Life Changing
I've now listened to every episode (60 + at the time of writing) and even flown down to Laguna Niguel to attend Brad and Jay's inspiring ARP meeting in-Person. Listening to the podcast every day during my commute for the last 3 months has been key in keeping my sobriety from my addiction as well as helping me on my path to recovery (my own version of "90 meetings in 90 days"). Their practical advice has been invaluable in getting ARP going (properly) in my own Stake. The effects of this podcast are spreading out to affect my family and everyone around me. I can't thank you enough Brad and Jay! You're creating a phenomenon that is saving lives and changing church culture for the better (possibly even for "best")!

In Recovery
I was very happy to discover this podcast! Being in recovery myself, it has given a broader vision of the steps and the ARP program.

Very informative and uplifting
This podcast gives me hope and keeps me motivated to stay sober from my addiction. Side note: It is almost impossible for me to not listen to the strokes after this. Thank you for all you do and keep it up.

A must listen
Thank you Brad and Jay. The sacrifices you have made to make this podcast have been life changing to me. You have given me strength in the midst of my battle with addiction. The only way I can possibly repay you is to do as you have done, give strength to others as they battle with their demons.
Thank you!!!

Thank you and a Suggestion
I applaud you guys for making/hosting such an uplifting and helpful podcast. It has helped me immensely, but can I make a suggestion? You guys tend to talk over your guests and I find myself yelling at my phone for you both to listen more so I can hear your guests stories without all the interrruptions from you both. I'd love to hear your thoughts after the guest is done telling their story, but please for the the love, hold your comments until they are done. Just my two cents, thanks again, and carry on.

It’s great! But...
Please stop chewing gum when you’re talking... I’ve had to skip two episodes bc it’s difficult to listen to for an hour.
But other than that, this is a life changing podcast that has saved my marriage

Life changing
This is so awesome!! It gives hope that recovery and sobriety are possible! I’m inspired to start attending meetings. You don’t have to be LDS to find the benefits in this podcast.

Life changing podcast
Brad and Jay! You’ve changed my life. This podcast was the catalyst to taking my desire to change my life and be rid of my addiction, to actually leading a life of recovery. I am a salesperson, and I listen to your podcast and I drive from appointment to appointment, or even just when I go grab a bite to eat, and the Spirit gets reinserted into my life in that moment. As addicts, things that are painful seem to slip our mind pretty easily, but listening to your podcast every time I jumped into my truck reminded me that 1. I am working a recovery program, so always remember that and 2. that I WANT to work a recovery plan so dive in and soak up as much as I can from you. I love how the Spirit just works so strongly in your podcasts. I love that it is not professionally put together, but it is really good, which makes me be able to relate to you much easier. Keep doing the good work and I can’t wait to be on in the near future, break anonymity, share my story, and give back to other listeners what you have given me....hope, faith, courage, self-worth, peace, the Spirit, joy...and on and on.

Let the guest talk without interruption
Jay talks too much. He interrupts the guest after they start sharing their ideas. He interjects with his own experiences, “oh, when I went through that...” or other phrases that takes over. It’s kind of annoying. But overall the content is awesome.

Game On. All In and Sober
I first heard from Brad and Jay when they were interviewed on the Leading LDS podcast a few weeks ago, and I immediately searched, found and subscribed to their podcast. I binged and began listening to every archived program. However, the real power of this program is such that I immediately began attending ARP meetings, even though doing so means driving over an hour (each way) to participate. "Hi, I'm Shawn and I'm an addict", and I'm working the steps again. Brad and Jay are the most effective ambassadors for a program desparately needed in this world. A program that delivers on the promise to provide full recovery and healing.

This is it
You don't have to be an addict to learn so much from this podcast. It's life-changing. Brad and Jay are fun, funny... And able to bring it all home with heart and spirit. I recommend this to everyone but especially LDS people interested in learning more about addiction and recovery.

This Is Great!
I read about 12-step success all the time, but it's so rare to find something so entertaining and helpful! These guys are fantastic!

Good Idea - TERRIBLE EXECUTION
I love the idea and concept of this podcast. However, tha audio mix on this podcast are terrible. I can try and listen to this podcast with my headphones on full volume and cannot hear what the people on the podcast are saying. The guy is so focused on Jesus he has not clue any one cannot hear him. I do not all find that ironic.

Brad, Jay and guests are genuine, authentic and sincere. They do a phenominal job. Their style is entertaining and fun. Yet they carry a compelling message which is both important and urgent.

Inspired!
I'm so grateful for this podcast. I'm pursuing a doctorate in psychology with the hopes of working in addiction recovery, and this is a great resource I hope to share with others. I appreciate the episodes addressing same-sex attraction - such good insights!

Funny, inspiring, and informative!
I really enjoy this podcast. I love the short church news section. The meat of the podcast is about recovery material through the lens of the LDS Addiction Recovery Program. The hosts are funny and the stories are amazing and inspiring. The interviews with other people in recovery are awesome as well. The world NEEDS to know about this stuff! It's amazing and it shouldn't be looked down upon. I think ARP is the best class in church lol! My only complaint: They REALLY need to get better audio equipment. The volume fluctuates drastically at times and it hurts my ears.

Thanks so much for sharing your journey Jay and being so raw about your life. I love the juxtaposition of an addict and a non-addict. I learned a lot and I'm excited to share with the addicts in my life. Keep sharing the good word guys!
