Great Podcast!!!
We saw Dave once at a stand up show where we were recommended the podcast. I think it gives great insight for both people in recovery and their loved ones. It helps promote and understanding of all human beings, which I think anyone can benefit from.

Hilariously Hopeful Pod
I love the questions & they at guest joke & get serious & vulnerable. This pod shows how beautiful & fun life in recovery can be.

Recovery podcast for now
It’s kind of a bummer to listen to ancient speaker tapes and not hear anyone like me or my age. Cue 12Q! They ask sober people TO-DAY to talk about what it’s like. It’s been a great comfort — and very illuminating — to listen during the pandemic and feel less alone.

A look at recovering from the world
Anna and Dave have a great, warm way of making thier guests comfy talking about the way they handle themselves and the world. I always walk away from each episode with something to think about that usually helps make my day better and my outlook a little brighter. So what I’m saying is: this podcast is more then worth your time. Subscribe now.

An even dozen
Anna is a singular interviewer, one who truly listens and still keeps up with her guests. Very much a feel-good show in a way that is genuine, not cloying or sticky. Would recommend!

Light At The End Of The Tunnel
The Keith Carey interview was a really great intro for me. Fascinating and brutally frank interview dealing with a mother's substance abuse. Anna and Keith compliment each other because they share a common thread in their lives and they have the desire to find the funny in their absolute worst experiences, as difficult as that can be. Raw and compelling stuff.

Insightful, deeply personal, and maybe even healing
FULL DISCLAIMER: I know Anna Valenzuela in real life and can personally vouch that she is a delight. That being said, I think this pod is the perfect vehicle for a bigger audience to enjoy her as much as I do. She’s a sensitive, whip-smart survivor and her conversations with recovered are naturally enlightening and personal. Looking forward to seeing more eps!
