I was so pleased to come across this podcast. The insight and information has been fantastic. Gerry provides great information and content, and the production quality is done very well. Great listen for any baseball fan.

There are so few podcasts out there for those of us that love to umpire and that would really like to meet the guys that work all those MLB games on TV. The ability to hear from guys like Gerry, Ted, Phil and more is amazing to me. It helps me to feel like being a part of their life within the podcast and seeing that they human just like me, amazing umpires but still human. I love the content, love the conversations and really admire Gerry’s humbleness and deflection of anything being in his name lol. Thank you Galel and Gerry for doing this.

This podcast provides really interesting insights into the world of professional baseball officiating. It’s cool to hear stories about games from the men who were on the field working those games. Mr. Davis and his colleagues offer lots of tips and pointers that we amateur umpires can take with us to the field as well. Keep up the great show! My only complaint is I wish the podcasts were longer!

You should make it 24 for 12. These episodes are a great insight into what really goes on in the game. The stories and tips from Gerry really are something special. His guests are informative. Double the length of the episodes and keep them coming. Thanks!

This is great being able to hear from one of the games best umpires!

As an amateur umpire and life long baseball fan it doesn’t get much better than Gerry and his experience.

Gerry is such a pleasure to listen to, and the host asks great questions as well. The guest are probably the best part, like Cowboy Joe West. I wish the episodes were a bit longer. 30 minutes might be just right. Keep up the great work!

I love the Topics and the conversations with all. As a fellow umpire thy has gone to pro school and gone on to work at the highest level of College, I appreciate hearing from the Big League guys as they share insight into the craft. The only recommendation I would make, is to put the Seasons in order so that when we miss a few we can still go back and listen to them without having to go back and hit the screen to play the next in line, especially when it’s a 3 part podcast. Thanks Gerry, look forward to seeing you back in the field next season.

I enjoy listening to this podcast. I’ve learned a lot about being a umpire from Gerry Davis. Mr. Davis was a guest instructor at a clinic that I attended and was in the cage with me. I appreciated his instructions and implemented his suggestions. I am always studying and learning to be a better umpire!

This podcast is great. It’s quick and easy to listen to. The only bad thing about this is that it leaves you wanting more stories after each episode.

I know Gerry through his strong and growing involvement with Little League umpires; he’s generously offered a whole lot of his time and expertise to help grow and improve our program. Listening to his podcast is always fascinating and I appreciate the candor and the attitude Gerry brings. And the host, Galel, is great too—as an umpire himself, he knows the right questions to ask that fellow umpires will be interested to learn about. I was able to meet Gerry a couple of weeks ago. I found out about these podcasts and as a 20+ year veteran of umpiring I dove into them. You never know enough or know it all to not try to get better. Gerry is very insightful and his experience is invaluable.

Easily my favorite podcast. For the love of all things holy, fix the audio. Can’t hear the interviewer sometimes, the audio isn’t in stereo until it is, volume changes. Do better.
