Good afternoon I recently came across your 1001 radio days and I love it it is very interesting do you think you’ll ever put any of the soap operas that came on the radio back in those days I would love to hear those or if possible some of the old fashion Sherlock home radio programs keep up the great work thanks

There are no individual episode descriptions just a blathering of verbosity and quite frankly it us just an ad for other podcasts. Speaking of ads, they are overly loud compared to the shows so if you are listening to relax, forget it!

This is SO GOOD! What a great way to pass the time. These episodes are Historical Documents in themselves. What a great resource Mr. Hagedorn has provided us with. I had no idea these even existed, and I am glad to experience them.

Podcast on the Will Rogers story was entertaining and inspiring. A great selection for a tribute to a special person and his loving wife.

Listen if you want to hear commercials for feminine products that allow you to have mess free fun with a friend. Real nice. It’s amazing how many of these podcast have junior high school rejects writing commercials. Do we really need to hear about “periods”. I guess fart or diarrhea products are not far behind. Snort snort. Please grow up and have a little more sophistication.

Jon Hagadorn is a great host, has great radio shows and guests. Never listened before I accidentally found his 1001 shows. Then I started telling everyone. If one show isn’t of interest another will be! I can’t stand Flo, but for these shows I will suffer through!

I love old school radio drama. Been listening for years. On AM radio before I found this podcast. My only beef is the Progressive insurance ad that plays repeatedly. Assumes everyone has a “cleaning lady” come to their new house? Please. That idea and assumption is as old as these replayed broadcast. And in case your wondering, no, I’m not talking about a historic ad for Lucky Strikes or Signal Oil. This is modern ad. And it’s inappropriate. Makes me mad every time is I hear it. Which is several times per episode. Reminds me of how much I appreciate my chosen insurance company. Geico. They run funny ads. Not crusty offensive stuff like said beef.

These are some really good shows.
