This podcast features passages from the diaries of George and Josephine Scott who trekked 1000 miles across Nevada deserts and mountains in 1914. The diary passages are read by Nevada poet and actor, Jeremiah G. Nelson and the podcasts complement the 1000 Miles of Desert and Mountains project, a collaboration between the University Libraries at the University of Nevada, Reno and the Washoe County Libraries.
