I’ve been listening to this show since I was in high-school, really top tier content for those who are interested in military aviation and just aviation in general. Thanks Steve and Guests for your awesome work and content

Easily one of my favorites!

I’ve only followed this podcast for the past few months, and I am thoroughly impressed with the contributors along with the lack of money grabs or other panhandling. The content details areas not often discussed within military aviation, and deal with extremely relevant topics such as aircrew cancer and high G RSI injuries. I have enjoyed the light attack series quite a bit and look forward to every new episode that drops. Thank you for providing a great channel to follow!

Steve Davies is the best aviation host period! He brings you some of the most insightful information you will find on military aviation. He books are great too.

The best aviation pod in my opinion. Steve has a great way of keeping the conversation very casual a which makes for easy listening. It’s first pod I check every day to see if there’s something new out.

Steve is an excellent host- selects fascinating guests, gently steers the conversations artfully with insightful questions, then let’s his consistently interesting guests tell their stories. Can’t beat it.

Steve is really great interviewer a gentle touch that guides not steers and never makes the story about himself. Really enjoy these. You really learn a lot of institutional knowledge. So much pilot “inside baseball” in every episode.

Great military aviation podcast. Davies is a knowledgeable and thoughtful interviewer who gives his guests the room to tell their stories and talk about their aircraft without needless interruption.

Been listening to several military aviation podcasts and stumbled onto this! Wowsers! It’s great, lots of very interesting information. Asks great questions of guests that answer us non pilot questions! Sometimes shows hosted by retired fighter pilots gloss over many details they assume we now, this guy nails it!

I love listening to all the stories and trying to understand all the technology involved in modern aircraft.

If you like The Fighter Pilot Podcast, but find yourself wanting to hear more of the pilot’s unique stories and opinions on the aircraft, this is the one for you. Just discovered it two weeks ago and can’t get enough. Great quality content.

Refreshing perspective of content that has been covered some in other podcasts. Great show, keep it up!

Great stories pulled out of the hearts of people who have faced some of the most extreme human experiences and come out on the other side, still human. Tremendously humane interviewer disarms interviewee and listener alike.

While there are a good number of podcasts interviewing aircraft pilots and WSOs, this podcast has the benefit of a professional journalist posing the questions, listening carefully and following up on responses. The longer than typical format helps as well. Bravo!

This is the real deal. These interviews are as close as you can get. SD has a working knowledge of facts and lore that he applies to the discussion to provide an in depth view into the abyss of these subjects. Simply amazing.

Growing up on USAF bases military aviation has always been fascinating to me. If you’re interested in aviation at all, this is the show you don’t want to miss.

This is an absolutely great podcast. The host really cares about the topic and skillfully facilitates making his guests and their stories the stars. There are many podcasts out there- this one is worth the time!

First class and sets a high bar in terms of detail/QA.

This podcast sets a gold standard for interviews with military pilots. I've listened to a dozen guests and they have all been fascinating. Professional discussions, great questions and many of the interviews are 3 or 4 parts of over an hour each. Top notch program if you are interested in military aviation past or present.

Unlike some other popular fighter aviation podcast, which sound downright goofy and like they’re meant for high school freshmen, 10 Percent True is truly in a league of it’s own! It’s like the adults are finally in charge again. Eloquently narrated and of a subject nature that actually entertains both my inner child and inner nerd.

Incredible oral histories from people flying a wide variety of aircraft. Sometimes you hear things contrary to what you thought you knew about an airplane and you have to consider that what you’re hearing are memories of actual experiences and worthy of credence.

Always fun so far. Listening to stories like these bring back so many good memories from my time on the F-16. Can’t wait for the next episodes. Great work

Awesome guests on this one. Very technical at times. Interviewer asks some very good questions.

Any lover of aviation will love these discussions. The guests have such interesting and involved lives in aviation, and their stories are inspiring, funny, and truly interesting to listen to. The accompanying YouTube series is worth the watch as well, as there is a lot of related video to see related to the guest’s experiences, most notably the Constant Peg program. Unlike a lot of interview style podcasts, Steve Davies understands to remove himself from the scenario. He will ask relevant and fun questions to draw the most out of the guest, but doesn’t have the need to interject himself into the conversation multiple times. Definitely worth the listen. The only issue, and it’s minor in the grand scheme of it, is that sometimes the episodes appear out of order. You may want to double check that you’re listening to them in order. Otherwise two thumbs way up for sure.
