Day 7: Cope with Your Emotions with Kindness (This does NOT mean you should “never” eat emotionally! 😉)

✨ Common “emotional eating” scenarios and what might really be happening
- Routinely eating lots of food at night
- Using food as a “coping mechanism” to access comfort or safety
- Denying/dismissing food’s association with emotions
✨Questions to ask yourself when you find yourself eating emotionally
✨2 examples of when “emotional eating” can become more concerning (and what to do)
- Using food to numb/sedate/dissociate
- Using food to self-punish
