When we face trials and hardship, its easy to lose focus. We must remember that regardless of what we are facing, when we are devoted and committed in brining God honor and glory, we will face in relentlessly, knowing that He will carry us through it. Peter reminds us this in a such a way that if we don't stop and ponder on it, we can truly miss it.

We all hit life marks that change the trajectory of our lives. Isaiah experienced that on the year King Uziah died. Although that was life changing for Isaiah and the nation of Israel, in the end Isaiah learned something else; that God was still sovereign and He was still in control.

Life hits us pretty hard without warnings, and the pain that comes with it is very real. In this I recognize that but also we are reminded that God is with us; that He will use it and it will be use to glorifying his Mighty name.
