Through therapy and new treatments, Dave found ways to retrain his mind and calm his nervous system. He also incorporated physical movement, particularly running, into his life to improve his mental health. Dave emphasizes the importance of finding meaning and purpose in life, setting goals, and challenging oneself. His own goal of running a marathon in his 40s not only improved his physical fitness but also helped him manage stress and engage with his family.
