Today’s guest is Travis Snyder, a Marine Corps veteran and mental health advocate. After losing a fellow Marine to suicide, Travis decided to walk around Lake Michigan to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. After completing several laps, he became Michigan’s 2022 Veteran of the Year! We talk about Travis’ time in the military, the mental health challenges after transitioning out, and his continued plans of advocating for this mission.
