Their beer knowledge is nonexistent and the music is generally horrible. Worse than that are the vomit inducing chewing and slurping sounds. Simply saying this is the worst podcast ever doesn't go far enough. This is the worst combination of words and sounds since the dawn of humanity. It's audio meth. I know its destroying me but I keep coming back for more punishment

I finally realized what I have been missing in my life while Russ and Tony were off the air: 1) hearing about someone else’s constant home repair problems, 2) Russ’s terrible taste in music and 3) recommendations for beer that I will never be able to try. Welcome back (for now)!

This show pours a deep shade of fun. I like that it has less head than most beer shows and enjoy that it still manages to lace the conversation with tangents during consumption. The nose says simple but along the way the complexity shows itself with a primary note somewhere between fruity and dank tartness and there is enough backbone to enjoy multiple tastes. It’s a great session podcast that manages to avoid being pretentious. The best part, however, is the aftertaste. The carefully curated sweet song dances on your ear palate long after the last drag.

These guys talk a lot. I like their talking. Keep talking, guys. I like it.

OK, maybe no broads (future content request?). Tony's taste in facial hair and beer far exceeds that of his musical taste! Nonetheless, the show is very entertaining and in my normal podcast rotation!

I’m not sure where their beer “knowledge” comes from but I’m guessing they read a couple of blogs and decided to make a podcast. I know a lot more about their grooming procedures than I’ll ever need to know thanks to their meandering conversations that fill about 90% of the “content” of the show, while the other 10% is them blabbering on about a few stale bands form the 90s. I’d rather go to a bar until last call and have a conversation with that drunk guy who keeps telling you about his ex-girlfriend than listen to this. That being said, I’ve listened to every episode.

Solid. You need to take an episode to the backcountry - one beer, one song, one still, one hike ... and I know the perfect guide. Banjo playing not included.

A podcast for anyone who appreciates good beer and good music described intelligently but without pretense or snobbery. Intelligent beer connoisseurs, foodies and musicians (or for those whom all describes) will definitely dig this.
