There is a theme throughout scripture. It’s God’s heart for us, His people. That’s what He wants. He wants us to be His people. He wants to be our God. He wants to dwell among us like He did in the garden in the very beginning. God uses this phrase throughout the Old Testament when He is talking to the Israelites. We see this phrase again in Revelation, when everything is restored. God wants to dwell among us.

But is that our desire? Do we really want to know God? Or are we just using God to get to His stuff?
