hello internet welcome to royal clearance now i've got all the doors and windows open it's it's a bit noisy in the marina there are sounds wafting by so i'm guessing somebody's getting their yacht ready and what have you i mean it's a beautiful beautiful spring day here in the united kingdom the sun is absolutely beaming and i can tell that the rest of the day is going to be gorgeous not that i'm going out you will not believe the chaos in the penthouse today because i'm decorating and of course when you when you paint one little thing in your apartment

suddenly every other little thing in your apartment looks shabby so now i'm i've taken on the bathroom but now i'm actually doing the whole the whole everywhere everywhere is being redone and i'm obviously i'm doing this sort of diy and upcycling um tv show so i thought well no i'll just do it all myself and it's oh sort of that thing where you take something on you think oh god what have i done and i'm only a week in so i'm i'm okay but the chaos is something that i think you when you're doing any sort of diy or um you know a big project you have to acclimatize yourself to chaos it's going to be chaos and you can't hurry that chaos up it's just

going to happen it is giving me an opportunity to clear stuff out and all the fabrics i have for the recycling the bras i'm being really strict with myself now i'm just thinking no there's no point in holding on to every old garment that could possibly be recycled in the future so i'm limiting it and i think it all seems to every seamstress i've ever known um is really guilty of this the fabric pile yeah if you're a seamstress or a maker or a recreator you will know exactly what i mean no matter what you recreate actually you know if you're a recycler who makes i've got a friend actually who makes um these sort of sculptures out of bits and bobs in america and he i i saw a picture of his workshop and it was glorious but it was just filled to brimming with stuff and i think when you're limited with your storage when you don't have the um you know the luck to have a wonderful workshop i mean i'd die to have a workshop really i would but i

haven't and i i don't want one you know i'm quite happy with what i have um but it does mean that after a while you have to say yourself no stop get rid of you know start to be choosy about what you keep and yes you're going to regret it some things you're going to think i wish i kept that but have some guidance and you know be selective and particularly for my recycled clothes and bras the biggest selection limitation i'm going to have is natural fabrics because nylon fabrics don't they don't so well you...
