so this is the um another of the uh paintings that i bought prints and paintings um from the drunk shop a while ago and i've cleaned the front with i mean it was so dirty oh there's about four of those and i'm still not 100 convinced that i want to keep it in this state it's going to get even more damage because this is relative to how it's been mounted on the back there are two pieces of wood so i certainly i don't mind a bit of damage but i do mind that that's going to just get worse over the years and also i want the music room to be a very calm peaceful place um as very serene and quite modern so really i'd prefer to put this in a modern frame that's
personal choice if this was an investment piece i'd recommend that you don't take it out but it's not it's i mean it's lovely it's very old but it's not worth you know millions or anything like that and you see this is just going to cause more and more problems for it so i'm going to take out these screws uh nails rather i've got some long nose pliers they're the best thing for that um and then i'll see what it's like when i actually take it out of the frame um because it's
probably got a lot of dust on it even in there so that's the first thing gently with a very soft um oil painting brush very gently clean obviously we'll dust it off and we'll see where we go from there but i've got alternative frames for it and i just think that in a more a retro frame you know old-fashioned scrolly stuff but not um you know not really ultra modern i don't think that would work so sort of pretend uh rokoka which is really i love all that stuff even even if it's plastic i'm afraid i do um but i think that would work really really well so yes we could do pop back and see what i do see what happens when i take it out
