At the risk of sounding like a hippy, if you can't do something, stop trying to do it.

hello darlings welcome to royal clearance i'm having a bit of a designer weekend because i'm doing up the bathroom but i'm videoing that so you can watch all that on um on my channel um but it's so chic it's so wonderfully chic this black gloss paint and i managed to get some more four pounds of tin from poundland i think i may have got the last two but that's going to be plenty but then i thought no i need to paint the piano i've got this very old piano and i bought it off somebody mistakenly without seeing it and he seemed so genuine he was on

marketplace on facebook and it was 700 pounds which is an awful lot of money and the pegs inside were super glued and wrapped up with wire now once the pegs go they usually split and um or the support that the pegs are in split and the they no longer work because they're too small you can't tighten them so they don't hold the tension in the string and therefore they don't make a sound anymore and really once they've gone they've gone there's you know there's absolutely no rectifying that situation but stupidly i desperately wanted a grand piano in in the music room desperately desperately and this was a baby grand but a baby baby

grand so four foot i think the depth and you know the space was i've got a very you know i've got furniture furnishings and everything in there so space was an issue and it was so pretty and he gave it such a good press um and he had a good um feedback everybody said oh yes wonderful wonderful wonderful well the first thing was it didn't turn up on time and then the next thing was he was trying to get a bit more money or something there was some issue here there and everywhere um oh he was trying that's right he was trying to sell me a stool i said i wanted a free store which i did get but you know that was an old shabby thing um so he

turned up and i i had i organized uh tuna and she was a wonderful woman and she broke the news to me very gently that i bought a pile of rubbish anyway what we decided to do in the end was she took all the keys out the the keys are all in one support and we tried to put my my um stage piano my electric stage piano in and it fitted perfectly so now i have a sort of hybrid so it's digital i can record straight into my software which is fab in midi i can do i do all my programs on it it never needs tuning and you get the resonance when i when the the um audio comes out of the speakers it goes into all the strings and you get a sort of resonance and um there's one pedal the other pedal didn't work because because there was no um you know it just didn't work it wasn't connected anymore and so one of the pedals actually works the

resonance pedal but it's quite old and it's brown and brown wooden furniture i've got a bit of a phobia about it i mean i always intended to paint it but i was going to paint it black gloss and this black gloss paint that i bought from pandan would actually work but i think really it needs to be white because the piano that i've put in the electric stage painter is white so i'm going to get some chalk paint and paint it white also i think white looks really clean with the environment because the room is white because of all the art um if i mean if i did it black and then did black walls it would look it's quite a small room and it would just look too much so much as i really like the idea of black everything everywhere in my apartment it's not really the most practical thing to do you know it can become very overbearing after a bit with my bedroom you see the boudoirs black darlings so music room in boudoir black blue black

bathroom black you know do you do you see what i'm saying it's just after a bit you think um and deep hallway blue yes another dark color but a beautiful blue um so i think i just think one room needs to be a sort of refreshing...
