hello everybody welcome to burning hearts bra the uh the tv show that goes along with making bras that um fight against reflux etc but we're talking trousers this week and we're talking trousers after a bit of weight loss after a baby or after buying something or somebody giving you something that's just a tad too big now i love these velvet i love velvet and it's that sort of thinner velvet which actually hangs quite nicely but our capsule wardrobe if you recall we're looking for the concept which is effortless glamour that stands out from the crowd so we don't want to be um with this concept we're not trying to look like a royal family we really want to be noticed so we want class and um fashion individuality now the best way to create

class is to um you know go to dior and in paris and do a shop we can't all do that and besides we're sewers and seamstresses and designers and i think we can do better than that so our concept is class but notoriety as a fashionista and our project is the capsule wardrobe so we're looking for staples like trousers and tops and dresses and pants and bras if you're in america actually we call knickers pants um the basics that if you packed everything into a suitcase you could actually attend any event go anywhere at the drop of a hat do the school run all of these things in your capsule wardrobe so you've got your basics okay and we can

team them afterwards with things like um you know gold jewelry and you know handmade handbags for example um that you made yourself that people are going to gasp at so these i like the way that they're really loose now these my mom gave me these and she they must have drowned her because she's a tiny lady but i like this fabric so i'm not giving up with them so i've decided this week that we're going to work on three pairs of trousers and we're going to um i've got several pairs here so i've got these and i'm going to make these so that i could wear them out of an evening so i'm going to take them in i'm going to show you how i do it and i'm also going to take some darks at the front and at the back just to give them a little bit more

shape um i mean we could line them we could line them up to here which would allow them to hang more but i don't think we need to i really think these should be easy wash throw in the washing machine slip on slip off no zips no pockets no drama okay but we want something a little bit you know a little bit sexier yes so that's those now i was given these by a very well-to-do friend of mine actually and she was a very very tall lady but they've still got the dry cleaning label in and they're very very chic and i think the seam all the way down here just sets them off and you'll see when we do these when we alter them that that seam creates a
