hello craft as an artist so this is a tip for painters and anyone who is using acrylic paint now acrylic paint is plasticky it kind of stretches as you use it you can pull it along and it's it's quite malleable but it dries very quickly now the trick with applying acrylic paint especially if you're doing something like furniture for example if you're painting wood if you're looking for a smooth surface don't load the brush with masses of paint use very very little paint in small strokes you'll get a much better finish trust me on this i've been a painter for years and loading up the brush gives you loads of streaks and thick marks and if it's an art painting that you're

doing likewise unless you're doing it for effect also when you layer wait till layers dry otherwise you're going to mix the colors and if you've got a full brush and you're mixing colors it'll be like when you were at school and you just accidentally created brown all colors lead to brown when you start mixing them up they get muddy they don't look great they lose their brilliance okay more tips of course every day over at the tail teller club site and you can pop along to our blogs and catch up with all the stuff that we're doing there
