Another awesome tip for families schools and carers as well as knitters and makers.
hi guys welcome to the crafting contest show with tips on how to make your life easier when you're crafting creating sewing painting etc etc now this one is for the knitters amongst us knitters or people who work in with yarn um rug makers if you're making a yarn hook um you know one of those hook rug things um anyone really who you go through a lot of yarn on a roll but actually you could use this tip for perhaps wire or string or even thread in certain instances
and the tip is get a jar or i use yogurt cups large um pots rather really large ones you know the big ones with like a litre of yogurt in um but you can use a smaller one but just depends on the real or the role or um you know the the ball of whatever it is you've got depends how big it is so you pop that in the um the container and then you it's called a binder clip and it's um a clip that you is an office tool and you it has two sort of wire handles on it and you pull them
together and the bind thing opens up it's metal they usually metal and then it closes um on the paperwork do you see and if you put that on the lip of your pot so that there's a space and that's where you thread your knitting or your or your crafting and thread or whatever it is that you're using i mean the times i've had a big drama with a ball of string darlings honestly um sometimes with the kids as well i'd get a ball of string like jute really cheap you can buy it in poundland and the kids would sort of play with it and what you do is you put it on the paper
and then you pour your paint over or or use a potato or something like that and pad the paint on and then you move the thread and it creates all these wonderful patterns we were always doing that and the cat gets the ball and before you know it there's it's just that everything's a mess so this is a really useful one for kids as well for you know if you've got that sort of saturday morning um create we used to do that when my kids were young we'd have specific days where we'd just get all this creative stuff out you know the colors and the paints and what have you so this is a really really good tip for them as well hope you enjoyed that come back i'm going to do lots and lots lots and lots and lots of fantastic craft and arts tips over the coming months and years and whatever however long we're together talking for so i hope you enjoy the crafting counter show and you can catch more at telltaler.club
