Romeo purring down the mic as usual!
hello gorgeous people of the internet welcome to royal clearance now i have today in an hour a blood test so i was just going to talk about how i'm how i cope with my phobia really i don't know if it's a phobia anymore i think it's become more of a dislike i feel a bit anxious now but i haven't felt anxious all week or two weeks i've been waiting for it i think and this is my doctor who's because i had a because i was having hot flushes at night romeo is going to jump over the microphone again like he does every single day and because i was getting these hot
flushes at night um and i'm past menopause now because i had when i had the cancer they took everything out so menopause was about three years ago and she said the doctor said oh no no you wouldn't be getting hot flushes now i'm just very dubious about this whole thing really because my mum still gets them on occasion and she's had to see the doctor a couple of times and to have blood tests because of her hormones and i know loads of women who into their 70s and 80s still have hot flashes so i'm not convinced that there's anything wrong however she's she said that it could be a sign of lung cancer so she sent me for an x-ray and today i've got i've got this blood test but i feel pretty healthy actually and i feel i mean apart from the usual ailments that i tell you about almost every single day i have got a bit of a
tension neck ache so i'm going to have to drug up later but apart from all that which is you know just part of getting older i guess well i know actually um you know my lungs are fine i'm not i have no idea why she's doing this however next week when the results come in or in a fortnight i may be here saying oh they found a lump imagine that so you know i make my words who knows however i feel fit as a fleet today but this is the thing isn't it they doctors really they don't really know anything on the outside they need to get inside because it's the inside where things are really happening so i think they're testing for thyroid and other things today now when i first started having my lips done it bloody hurts you know especially the bit in the middle your lips are really sensitive that's why we like snogging so much um that's why uh kissing someone is so sensual and and a tiny you know brush on your lips by someone you desire can send you quite up to heaven and that's because there are so many nerve endings in your lips as elsewhere i mean lips are in an erogenous zone so um consequently the needles
were hurting now when my um beautician the lady the nurse who does my fillers when she comes over with the injection i just shut my eyes and i assume in my mind's eye that she has this tiny needle the size of one of my dress pins and it just pierces the top layer of the skin but of course that's not true i mean it goes pretty far in but i've developed i've become more courageous about needles of course when you're having your face done you're lying there thinking go through the pain because you know you're going to look 15 years younger when you sit up that's what i always do and also this numbing cream and she puts numbing cream on and also there's a numbing agent in the injection so you only feel the first one do you see but the blood test is always hit and miss isn't it darling it's always bloody hit-and-miss with these nurses so i used to be really phobic but today i feel i kind of feel calm and i guess that's because i'm getting used to them and this is how they treat phobias they um give you sort of overkill over you know they get closer and closer with it or i mean you do learn to cope
actually the more you have the better you get at dealing with things theoretically i mean of course it doesn't always work but we're very resilient us humans um and i'm i'm not feeling particularly anxious and i'm going to when i go i'll tell her i don't really like them and...
