hi guys welcome to royal clarence marina i've had a great weekend just a quick update because i'm really really busy i've got a photography thing happening today um i've set up two new rooms in the penthouse one is the photography studio which is which really is quite small i don't need um a huge space but it's i'm using my my sony and a tripod and i'm going to work on some experimental photography today i'm really excited about it so that room's it's almost done i'm just doing the lighting today it's really exciting for the art gallery because i've got a

new exhibition coming up but also i created another room i created a makeup room which i've been meaning to do for ages so i've i've put all my makeup and jewelry which is all around the place in different places the bedroom the bathroom i've put it all into one area so now i can go into this room and i've got all my mirrors and all my makeup and i can really focus on this glamour because because it's all about glamour now i'm going to spend the the next at least a year being attaining glamour you know being glamorous is one thing but attaining it is another attaining grammar is something that's just second nature that you just do automatically you're not you know wondering about in leggings and a scabby t-shirt i really i i'm thinking i should throw my leggings away do you think that's a good idea i think it might be i mean i don't wear them very often but i do wear them for comfort that's the thing um but i'm not sure that

they're you would never call leggings glamorous would you i mean not even in a um a situation where they cost you a lot of money you'd never say no that i look glamorous in these you just wouldn't so i think i think i may just throw them away i like to wander around in my linen i've got a lot of linen and uh you know when i'm doing this sort of sloppy joe thing anyway i'm digressing so glamour is the key word today and sorted out my makeup room sorted out the photographic studio for the new exhibition which is coming i've got loads of challenges to do which i simply have to do i'm practicing all my scales grades six seven and eight because i haven't i've shirted on those throughout my life um and i've because you when one is a

composer and when when you do music especially dance music i don't really need to do scales i just need to perfect maybe um the melody usually with the cello that's where i usually come in or a bit of the um a bit of arpeggios but to under you know to layer underneath the piece i mean that's generally what i do that that's it and i do it by ear so i don't do it by

understanding what i'm doing so i might play an arpeggio but i wouldn't know that i'm playing an arpeggio do you see i just i'm improvising so i'm that's really bad for for being in the orchestra you need to you're going to read a piece of music written written by a composer that all your um you know all your peers in the orchestra are also following so it's very very important that i understand what i'm playing um of course you can but don't tell the rest of the orchestra or don't tell the audience but the thing with the orchestra is you can actually do a bit by ear and when i was playing along to the brooklyn on my on my tv the other day i noticed

that when i'm playing these under like lower layer uh arpeggios i'm doing it by ear that's a risky business actually it is risky honestly but you you can and the other thing you can do in the orchestra which i've discovered lots of people do which i had no idea but i have done in the past when there's a flurry of really quick notes you don't necessarily have to play all the notes and it appears that a lot of musician composers didn't really mean for all the notes to be

played what they really wanted was a swell especially from the cellists a swell of sound do you see because it's the swell of an orchestra on these passages that makes the overall feeling...
