Today, we welcome the wholesome and successful couple, Marshall and Cindy Sykes onto the Elevate Your Equity podcast.
Marshall Sykes is a real estate entrepreneur at heart, having grown up in a real estate investing and development family. He and his wife, Cindy, are investment partners in 2000+ multifamily units. They have also owned single-family rental properties for over 20 years. Marshall is a licensed Professional Engineer and has 30 years of construction project management and facilities asset management experience. He served for 24 years in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps where he retired as a Captain. He also had a second career at ExxonMobil Global Projects Company and has worked and lived in 11 countries.

Marshall: 21 Laws in Leadership by John Maxwell - If people wanted to be JUST like you, what is the first actionable thing they could do to follow in your footsteps?
Marshall: Network and network and join meetups in real estate.
Cindy: Just be open to new things. - What small thing/s do most people not know about you?
Marshall: I like to roast my own coffee beans.
Cindy: I like History, so I gather books about history. - How do you like to unwind and restore your own creative juices?
Cindy: Going out and taking a walk and just getting away and reading.
Marshall: Lift weights in our garage gym. - Favorite vacation spot?
