Irene Blain never knew she had a congenital heart condition: a bicuspid aortic valve. This past year, while shopping at Costco she suddenly passed out. She had to receive CPR and was rushed to the hospital. In May 2020 she had open heart surgery and received a new valve. Today she is doing great. Her husband also received care at the Maz. She is grateful for the care that they both received and feels lucky to live in a place that has a facility like the Maz
