For over 45 years, the Brodericks have owned and operated Trail Appliances in Alberta. Their reputation is built on strong family values and they’re proud to be still family-owned and operated today. It’s what sets them apart and they’re proud to be recognized as a leading independent appliance retailer in Western Canada.
Shortly before Christmas, 2017, Dave Broderick, suffered heart failure and went into cardiac arrest. Surgeons at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute performed two open heart surgeries to save his life, and he spent two months recovering. In a show of gratitude for the care he received, Dave and his brothers made a tremendous gift to the University Hospital Foundation for the purchase of 38 of the best hospital beds in the world that are now in use on the fourth floor of the Maz. They also made a matching donation at last year’s Heart Pledge Day.
