Three-year-old Dominic was born premature in 2018 and several tests showed he was a severely ill little boy. His family made the decision to put him on palliative care, but Dominic fought and became strong enough for the surgery he needed to save his life -- a surgery that had never been done on someone as young or sick as Dominic.

He got to go home shortly before he was two months old and his family says they would have lost him without the care of the Stollery.
