After Jesus' death, His disciples were confused and downtrodden. Their hopes and dreams of a Messiah seem to had been shattered. Two of them were walking along a road when they were joined by a strange man. They didn't know who he was, but he talked in a way they had not heard before. At the end of the journey, he took, blessed, broke, and gave bread and at that moment they realized they were in the presence of the risen Jesus. In this message, we look at these four acts – taking, blessing, breaking, and giving. We see that they represent stages or seasons in our lives, and it is through these that we too have encounters with the risen Jesus.
