For some reason, the New Paltz-based multi-instrumentalist Cam (of multiple projects including The Pom Pom Girls and The Pretty Lips) joins the Bürgerkrieg Productions "15 Minutes of Fame" Podcast again. We chat about his latest project John's Cult Train, the Britney Spears conservatorship controversy and the much-discussed New York Times documentary "Framing Britney Spears," and I get some insight on the choices that led to the amazing cover of the Princess of Pop's 1998 hit single "...Baby One More Time" for the John's Cult Train inaugural release, "American Breakfast." We tackle such subjects as Mothman erotica, musical influences, the importance of acknowledging your roots, and (of course) chatting about the music they create. Each episodes features both a sample of a track from the band to kick off the episode, as well as a full-length song at the close of the interview.
