Michael of Reid, Executive Director of Seneca Gospel Mission joins to discuss their mission of addressing community specific needs through a religious motivation. Current programs address food access & education, youth development, extended learning opportunities for children and religious instruction. Also discussed is RISE WNY -- a program of FeedMore WNY offering free job-training for economically disadvantaged adults, providing the skills, experience, opportunities and a network of partners to help our neighbors obtain gainful employment and achieve financial self-sufficiency.
