(NIV) – The Lord is my shepherd…
-15 (NLT) – “I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep.
(NIV) – The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
a (NIV) – He makes me lie down in green pastures.
(NIV) – But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
b (NIV) – he leads me beside quiet waters.
-14 (NLT) – “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

(ESV) – Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
