Four Dimensions of Marriage

(NLT) – Jesus always used stories and illustrations like these when speaking to the crowds. In fact, he never spoke to them without using such parables.
(MSG) – You’ve captured my heart, dear friend. You looked at me, and I fell in love. One look my way and I was hopelessly in love!
-17 (NLT) – So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.
(NLT) – And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?
(NLT) – Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
(NLT) – Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.
(NLT) – Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.
