How are you managing your emotions during the quarantine?
Unless you're a zen master, you're probably all over the place, like the rest of us. Being aware and expressing our feelings was already not the easiest practice during our pre-pandemic lives, so it's no wonder that we're struggling even more, now that we're in lockdown.
In this episode, I chat with Brooke Ramsay about how to create space to express our feelings, and how beneficial it can be not only for you, but for your loved ones, with whom you might be stuck at home.
Brooke shared a PDF with everything we talked about, you can get it here (no email required!).
Equally at home in the back-country and the boardroom, Brooke is an endurance athlete, improviser, and lover of life. From setting a course record in a 340-mile canoe race, to shaving her head and solo traveling India, camping anywhere from the remote beaches of the Canary Islands to the rugged bush of Northern Manitoba, Brooke brings an exuberant energy to every day.
In university, Brooke studied philosophy and business. She continues to study these, as well as shamanism and various spiritual teachings regularly. She is a Certified Professional Coach, Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, and a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Dr. Manuela Powell is a mindset coach whose mission is to help women who have lost themselves after motherhood to have the audacity to create the life they really desire without feeling guilty for wanting more. For over 17 years, Manuela was a cancer surgeon, in Brazil and in the US, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, in New York City. After having her second child at 44, she craved more flexibility, freedom, and time with her family, so she put away her scalpel to, instead, dissect women’s soul and help them excise the “shoulds” and the “I’m-not-good-enoughs” from their minds forever, so they can finally live the life they were meant for.
In March of 2020, as the world shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic, she launched the 6ft Apart show, which she records every weekday live on Facebook, to help people during the quarantine. She interviews other badass coaches, to bring to you actionable and simple tips, tools, and techniques to help you navigate these insane times.
