Brett here -- The Transcona and District Pipe Band reached out to me because they're having a hard time getting kids interested in joining the band, and KEEPING them interested. That got me thinking... Is it harder today to get young people involved or excited in activities that might be seen as more traditional? Or has that always been the case with each generation of kids, that they maybe don't want to partake in traditions because something they perceive to be more exciting has caught their attention? We're joined by Ryan Stewart, the Pipe Major with the Transcona and District Pipe Band.
