The Red Sox, if you can believe it, were more interested in dumping salary than fully maximizing their asset in Mookie Betts, who was shockingly traded along with starting pitcher David Price to the Dodgers on Feb. 4, 2020, for outfielder Alex Verdugo and reliever Brusdar Graterol.
