The Washington Nationals are World Series champions for the first time, capping a brilliant run Wednesday night with a 6-2 win over the Houston Astros in Game 7. 

The Nats defined all odds along the way — like winning all four games in Houston. The Astros' meltdown at Minute Maid Park in Games 6 and 7 was just as spectacular.
