Does the doctrine of the Trinity mean that there are really three Gods, and not just one? Let me begin by noting that we need to be comfortable with the reality that there are things about God we can’t fully understand. The Trinity is one of those things. The Bible is clear that God exists as three distinct persons. But the Bible is also clear that there is only one God. There are not three God. There’s one God.
