We had a conversation with Dida Nibagwire, the Casting Director of PETIT PAYS.&nbsp;
FACTSHEET:&nbsp;

 <li>The whole film was shot in Rwanda (Rubavu and Kigali).</li>
 <li>Rwandan/Kenyan/French and Belgian technical crew.</li>
 <li>The majority of the cast is RWANDAN.</li>
 <li>Includes 7 refugees from Burundi.</li>
 <li>The casting started in August 2018 through January 2019.</li>
 <li>Shot in 8 weeks.</li>
 <li>Used a method called “casting Sauvage” meaning the cast is made of non-actors.</li>
 <li>Only two were professional actors.</li>
 <li>The whole cast is around 69 people (those who speak) there also some minor roles.</li>

We talk about the future, our safety, money, career, health, family. We laugh a lot, we fight too. We respect each other's opinions and agree to disagree. The most important thing though, we are solution-oriented.
