#019 Our society simultaneously suppresses and amplifies sexuality leading to a confusing and unhealthy paradox.  In this episode, we explore ho we can improve sexual intimacy and and in in doing so, improve our overall health.

Make sexual intimacy special.  This is your special time together.  Clear your schedule for at least 2 hours for this.  No distractions, obligations, or interruptions.

Steps to connecting through sexual intimacy

Communicate 

  • About your shared values and dreams.  
  • Express awareness and appreciation for what your partner brings to your life and why you like being together.

Purify  

  • Flush any thoughts and feelings rooted in worry, fear, or frustration
  • Clean the room
  • Change the sheets in the bed
  • Bathe together
  • Use essential oils or sage 

Set an Intention of

  • Care
  • Generosity
  • Presence
  • Respect
