When we take the time to really read our Bible – to see the connections between the Old Testament and New Testament,  it leaves absolutely no doubt that while God used many different men – from different time periods, different backgrounds, different educations, different vocations – all very different – that ultimately there has to be only 1 Author, because otherwise Scripture could never be as intentional, orderly, and cohesive as it is.Psalm 40 is a great example of this. A Psalm given to David, yet the foreshadowing and connection it has to the New Testament is amazing.
