Nancy Knous entered the financial planning scene

way back in 1987. Through the 90s, she honed her skills, weathered setbacks, and built an indomitable spirit, leading her to found Benchmark in 2000. Armed with determination and a hearty sense of humor, she has grown Benchmark from ateam of 2 to a team of 20 strong. While she's a proud Memphian, she is also licensed in 25 states and she holds registrations like CFP®, CFS, Series 7, 63, and 24. As a female business owner, Nancy has a deep understanding of theunique challenges and opportunities women face in the financial realm. For that reason, Benchmark takes a holistic approach to financial planning, considering factors such as investments, retirement strategies, estate planning, college planning, insurance, cash flow planning, and strategic giving.

Beyond work, Nancy revels in family, friends, and quiet days with her dogs and a good book. She can also be found at her Lego table – putting together little buildings is quite therapeutic. Nancy's a master of blending fun, creativity, and relaxation!
