Pride is a time for celebration, and love, but a lot of people use pride in hopes of finding romance or a hookup. With the alcohol flowing, it can be a big old party, or if could lead to a dangerous situation. Five years ago, at my second pride/first year going out, I was almost in a really bad situation. It may have been nothing, but it seemed like I was targeted and being taken to a second location while inebriated. Luckily I had a good friend there to watch my back.
