What's making cook and author Julia Busuttil Nishimura cheerful this week? Here are five of them....

COOK During lockdown in general I’ve been making a lot of pasta - my ultimate comfort food. The last one I made was pici with a lemon mascarpone sauce. So easy, sunshine in a bowl.

LISTEN Have been loving the new ABC podcast Days like These. Especially during lockdown, it's been really nice to tune out of the news cycle and into ‘real people’ stories.

WATCH I don’t usually watch comedies, but I absolutely loved Schitt’s Creek. The funniest, most heartwarming and heartbreaking show ever.

READ Loving Always Add Lemon by Danielle Alvarez. She’s such an idol of mine. Her food is seasonal, fresh, simple and generous food, and her book is the one I wish I’d written!

DO Last week we went to the beach, it was our first time out of Melbourne city in Months. We went down the Great Ocean Road to Anglesea and had the best fish and chips of my life from Fish my Moonlight. Then we went down to the beach and had a swim and it was magic.
