If we will not stand up and act like men now, when? If these unprecedented events are not enough to awaken the church, what will? Will the visible church of our generation be salt and light to help preserve the world as a witness to God's truth, wisdom, justice, and mercy? Or, will we just "sing a little louder" to drown out all of the cries and screams of the damned as they perish temporally and eternally all around us? In this podcast, we are sounding the alarm.
In a recent Q&A, John MacArthur made some absolutely disgraceful statements. This is a response to him. However, since his position apparently represents the view of so many others, this is also a response to American Evangelicalism in general.
I tried to show Dr. MacArthur as much as respect as possible, but given the reprehensible statements that he made, my response was severe at points by necessity. Far from loving his neighbors, John MacArthur was actually hating his neighbors by strengthening the hands of tyrants and evildoers as he tragically lended them his prominent and esteemed support.
Yet, there were so many other things I did not even touch on here. I did not get into the whole idea of "essential" and "non-essential" people and businesses in this video. I did not mention the fact that pastors who agree with the government on this are in effect saying: "Yes, liquor stores, marijuana dispensaries, and Planned Parenthood are essential, but no, we agree with the godless secular-state that the church is not essential."
