I think they need to practice use of their own words by encouraging fellow officers to do just that. There are many good officers that put on the blue, yet unfortunately there are tyrants that where the uniform that terrorize our communities. We need to ask that the ‘good’ officers be the voice of change that rids the streets of these check collectors. Why? Because of any one becomes a police officer just to collect a check or to feel greater than another human being, then they are sorely missing the mark. :90 Will All The Good Officers Please Stand UPJust as a matter of full disclosure and transparency, my father who adopted me was a police officer for Miami-Dade County for 29 ½ years. He’s seen so much in his nearly 30 years of fighting crime and eventually teaching the D.A.R.E. program across the county. I’m sure my father wasn’t Mr. Perfect, yet he was a man of his community. He retired in 2009, 10 years ago and he still is seen as a beacon of hope and respect, 10 years after putting down the shield. As stated, my dad wasn’t perfect and I’m sure he had done things he probably would regret. But my father was a man of the community, a majority black community he and my mother still reside in today. It's going to take officers like him to be the voice for the voiceless and to speak up when their fellow officer is antagonizing the very taxpayer that gives these men and women jobs. Hey, the world as we know it needs a later of policing, at least good policing. If we are even going to start the criminal injustice debate, we must first start with the unjust sentences and officer receives or does not receive for killing a human being.  :35  Donald Trump  Said What?:30 Take Em To Church:Rodney  King once said, “can’t we all just get along.” This declaration is true.
